Stress Management/Resilience Coaching
Stress appears to have become the watchword of 21st century life. The vast majority of our new clients talk about feeling either stressed, anxious, overwhelmed or out of control.
Whilst healthy levels of stress are good for you - energising you and driving you to action; unhealthy levels of stress can be very detrimental to your life affecting areas such as health, relationships, motivation, confidence, work performance and much more besides.
The good news is that you can proactively take steps to minimise the potential of unhealthy stress in your life; whilst there are many scientifically proven approaches to managing and reducing the impact of stress if you have already reached your tipping point.
At The Coaching Project we help our clients:
- Understand the science behind stress
- Discover their personal stress triggers
- Develop strategies to minimise the potential of unhealthy stress in their lives
- Explore tools that reduce the negative impact of unhealthy stress
- Establish practices to build long-term resilience
In addition to using classic coaching techniques to help minimise and manage unhealthy stress, The Coaching Project also offers HRV (heart rate variability) monitoring. HRV monitoring provides you with a personalised, detailed and evidence-based assessment of your stress responses and underlying resilience.
The data is captured using state of the art technology. The Bodyguard (which is smaller than a matchbox) is worn for a 48 to 72 hour period. This monitor collects and downloads heart rate variability data to determine how well you are coping day-to-day, how well you are recovering from stressful episodes in your life and which lifestyle behaviours are supporting your resilience versus those which are not.
Areas covered by the report include:
- Stress and Recovery
- Energy and Sleep
- Activity and Exercise
- Maximising Performance
The reports, which are strictly confidential, provide hard scientific evidence as to how well you are coping (often better than you think) and how you can improve your resilience and hence health, mental wellbeing and performance at work.
Managing and minimising unhealthy stress, whilst building resilience is fundamental to your health, energy and performance. If you feel stress is negatively impacting your life or work, then get in touch.
